Neil, today i had an assembly about you at my school and it inspired me, i have great respect for you and this blog makes me laugh, but also makes me realise that, yes, these things ARE fun, they ARE worth reminding yourself about sometimes and they really ARE awesome. This was my first time chiming in to the app or website on something truly awesome, though I should have for the ‘Dads’ post a few days ago! Anyway, this entry really truly brightened my day. I was instantly transported back to a time when pillows and covers kept one safe from the worst of evils, and the most stressful and perilous task was avoiding the lava and one traveled from place to place stepping only on the safe pillow-rocks! Thank you for reconnecting me with my inner child, even for the briefest of moments. Awesome!

Psh… no need to teach ur kids. This is what always goes through my head on a rainy day. Although I’m 11 while I have a 15 year old bro who is going through the teenager stage and thinks that when ever I make a fort it’s going to be and epic fail. So he just watches while I struggle to balance a pillow on top of a blanket before all 3 corners fall down. But let me tell u. I don’t know why but building a fort on a rainy day is like built into a kids head. AWESOME. ;D

those days were so fun with my sister.we always did half of the living room:)then our dogs would run in knock some books down and BOOM!!!we would rebuild it over and over again.
