Arg, my Mum is renowned for her snoring. Absolutely anywhere, any time. Including a school open evening, right in the middle of the assembly. It’s loud and totally undignified, she doesn’t even need to be asleep! So there we were and she began to snore, so I gave her a quick sharp elbow in the rib, to which she startles awake and yaps, IN FRONT OF MY WHOLE YEAR GROUP, PARENTS AND ALL, ‘What’s your fuckin’ problem’. I was completely mortified.
Unfortunately I don’t find this post so awesome, it’s the horror of my childhood, this is not a one off event and has haunted me through many a occasion. Films ruined, mortifying meetings. Awful.

I once had to share a room with a couple of friends at a hostel, one of whom snored the ENTIRE night. He was too far away to do anything other than throw a shoe at and as much as I wanted him to shut up, I didn’t really want to knock him out. Best part is next morning he says to us “I didn’t get any sleep last night, did you?”

Oh how true this post is! Every night I suffer from what I consider to be an elephant mixed with a poorly built engine sputtering off every half hour-but is actually my husband sawing logs. From now on, every time I go to disrupt his slumber I’ll remember this and smile :)

Once i slept with my grandmother whos such a stubborn snorer that nudging her or even waking her up didnt work :p. But honestly, once ur concscious of the snoring, its like sumthing grinding in ur ears n u just cant sleep :p

This doesn’t work for me… all the nudge gets me is: *snork* “what!?” *grumble*… *zzzZZZZZ*

and the snoring continues.

Sure I can nudge to stop the snoring, but how do I get it to STAY that way???
