Because when the DJ is playing other songs, you have to compromise with your dance moves. Suddenly, the tables have turned. But is stinks when people keep asking for the same songs over and over again. It is not creative anymore, and you don’t discover new songs.

But doesn’t always happen in a club at a large city. Some of them try to make a “statement” with their music choices. I once dated a DJ and he said, “I get so tired of the top 40. Every week, people request the same thing.”

Yeah…. but if they like it, they dance. And quite frankly, if no one is dancing, you’re not really doing your job….
