I have just read the Getting Through It entry. Things have been really hard for me lately. Every day I wake up wondering," what's it all worth? why bother?" I have been trying to get into medical school for years. My family, other doctors, even some schools, keep telling me that I won't be able to be a doctor, since I can't walk. But I just keep going after it anyway. Reading this post makes me reflect on all the hardships I have had in my life, It has helped me remember how much I have grown from those experiences, I learned, I developed an inner strength stronger than before, I loved and lost, but at some point someone loved me. Thank you for reminding me, regardless of what is to come, look at all you have gotten through, remember the times you were loved, remember that you still have that power in you to face the challenges ahead. Thank you for the pep-talk, the pat-on-the-back I needed so much more than you know.
