#892 Taking your shoes and socks off after a really long day

Get the TV set to Barney

Cold, wet, and clammy.

That pretty much sums up the state my feet are in after walking around in thin, sweaty socks and tight shoes all day. They’re aching and sore and full of flattened toe hair, crispy corns, and dry, flaky skin. Yeah, it’s a real horror show in the hallway every night when I get home from a really long day.

But how does it feel when you do finally let those feet out, air them out, stretch them out, and just throw them up on the couch and flick on the TV?

Wait, don’t tell me.

AWESOME!

  1. YESSSS!! And a footrub to follow?
My son looooves this feeling. Every day when we get home and I take off his shoes and socks, he wriggles his toes and says “Ahhhh!” every time. And then I proceed to tickle his feet because that’s when his feet are most ticklish.

  2. Aye, socks are a pain. But they keep my feet warm. Maybe if I lived below the equator, I might just abandon socks and shoes.

  3. I picked up a pair of Adidas accupression sandals and OMG their all I want to wear now, if your feet bother you “Try them!” their only like $20. they have nodules that stick up and massage the bottom of your feet as you walk. HEAVEN.

  4. Hi there! I simply want to give an enormous thumbs up for the nice info you might have here on this post. I can be coming again to your weblog for extra soon.

  5. Generally I do not learn post on blogs, but I would like to say that this write-up very pressured me to try and do it! Your writing taste has been surprised me. Thanks, quite great article.
