#706 The moment at a concert when the crowd figures out what song they’re playing

Sweaty crowds in sticky shirts scream and scramble for better views between songs. Drums kick boom and guitars get tuned just before the bright lights flip up and flick on. Everyone slides forward on the beer-slicked floor and as the first notes kick in we all catch our breath.

AWESOME!

  1. Ooh yes! That was me at the Mumford and Sons concert! I had been waiting for them to play my favorite song and then when they said, “are you all ready to dance”, I was like “they’re finally gonna play it! I know it!!” It was awesome!!

  2. I bet this is awesome. Its been so long since I’ve been to a concert, I couldn’t tell ya. The last musical thing I went to was Phineas and Ferb Live and I knew a couple of their songs before they started singing….does that count?

  3. I personally love with they intentionally add an extended intro to a song to build up the anticipation. Everyone wonders where they’re going with it, and it suddenly leads into a well-known song and the audience goes crazy.
