I was more excited than my neighbor was last year waiting for his pool to be finished. All of the delays in construction annoyed me much more than they did him.
As long as the pool is not above ground, it is awesome.
We thought about getting a pool, but I knew it would be a lot of work, and that we’d have all our neighbours in our place, all the time. So we got a fish pond instead. We still get visitors, but so far no one has done a cannonball into the fish pond.
I like neighbors pools but more for the skating………..yeah…. the economy is tanking so that means maintaining the pool is the first expense to go so a whole slew of shating pools will be coming up soon.
HA HA!!! So true! My mother owns a pool and during the summer, she knows less than half the people that show up to use it…lol. Awesome! Thanks again for the great article.

I remember growing up in my old neighborhood and we didn’t have a pool but our neighbors sure did!
My sister and I would go swimming in their pools almost everyday in the summer.
