Also… I didn’t find it too amusing when someone violently hit the breaks and I bumped my head into the front seat. =)))))))
This also applies to carnival rides! I remember a few painful squishes on rides as a kid.
This is cool.
Depends on which way the car is turning, which side of the car I’m on, and if two girls are sitting on either side of me. Then it’s awesomelutly.
But at my age it would be my grandsons, & I’d just get squished.
This can get awkward. My natural instinct is to brace myself, but where can I put my hands if the headrests in front of you are already being used? Beside you. That’s right.
You can get to know someone really well after a hairpin turn. Heh.

At 16, I did that while driving my mom’s 1983 cutlass supreme. My 13 year-old sis was shot gun, and my 3 year-old brother was in the back unbelted (this was before the kid seats.)
I made a sharp turn and he rolled from one side of the car to the other (which was pretty wide), like head over heels, and hit the other door pretty hard. We were scared to death that he’d start crying; but he just LAUGHED…
But we made him belt up afterwards. We didn’t want to get in trouble.
I did this all the time as a kid!! sometimes i still do! :) We always called it ‘Jello’ and would shout it whenever this happened. But the real fun was staying in whatever position you ended up in for the whole ride……….. until the driver turns the other way

We did this on purpose, to squish each other as kids. We had a minivan, so we carpooled to choir. The smallest corner would result in LEANNNN!
Corners!! We used to play this all the time. Every corner you’d exaggerate and squish people lol.

This is the greatest feeling in the world! Sometimes I’ll be packed in with a bunch of friends and we make a big show out of squishing each other:) A few times, though, I’ve been packed beside someone I would much rather not be packed in with. This happened on a church youth trip and I arrived late to the van so I was stuck sitting beside the really gross kid in our youth that nobody really liked. Let’s just say I spent the whole ride keeping myself as rigid as a board and trying to fight the natural forces at work. It was an adventure, I tell you. Phew! :)
First off I would like to say great blog! I had a quick question that I’d like to ask if you don’t mind. I was interested to know how you center yourself and clear your thoughts before writing. I have had trouble clearing my mind in getting my ideas out there. I do take pleasure in writing however it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes tend to be lost just trying to figure out how to begin. Any ideas or tips? Cheers!
