  1. Oh my GOODNESS this may be the very awesomest thing YET! Baby hugs are the cutest thing ever (I mean come on, babies and hugs are both so incredibly wonderful…) What a sweet picture and sweet post, as well. :-) Thanks for continuing to make my life brighter.

  2. You know that page the baby picture came from? The story on it made me cry :(
And baby hugs? Really, really awesome.

  3. Oh! And congrats on the book. I didn’t know there would be one. I plan to order one or five. I know lots of people who could use a little awesome in their lives. I love the book cover. “Bakery air…..” Ahhhhh!

  4. My grandsons’ hugs are priceless. Feeling their breath on my face as they sleep on my shoulder….another beyond awesome experience!!!!

  5. Awww, this is so great.

There is this kid I babysit and every time I put him to bed he insists on giving me a goodnight kiss and hug before going to sleep. It is the cutest thing ever.

  6. We suually spend about 20 minutes trying to get my nephew to give everyone a hig when he leaves the house. Then, about a minute and a half after we give up hope, he decides he’s ready and gives everyone a hug. And sometimes a kiss. Precious.

  7. my baba passed away 2 years ag0 when my nephew wasnt even a year old…after the funeral we went to a large lunch where all the family and friends gathered and while in the midst of everyone saying sorry and giving hugs, i saw my nephew who gave be the biggest hug ever, not knowing why we were all so sad but that hug ment more to me than anything anyone said that day, i knew it was given out pure love.

  8. There’s just something about their little arms attempting to hug my head (or any other body part closest to them) that never fails to make me smile and make my day. No, the occasional snot doesn’t ruin that. :p

  9. I just found your site today and have been reading all of it’s awesomeness…I L-O-V-E this one. My son gives the best goodbye hugs…but it’s the pats on the back that go with it that make the hug so great!

  10. Wow, very interesting article. It’s funny how history can be twisted in so many different ways. These photos certainly give us clues, but I guess we’ll never know the true story. . . .

  11. …and then they grab hold of a little neck and squeeze just a little bit tighter, there’s nothing can compare… genuine love.
