My husband does not get the soft orange kind of wax, he gets very large flaky earwax. I love to pick it with a bobby pin and examine it! Once it was so clogged I had to take tweezers and gently pull on the flakes. It finally let lose and almost exploded out of his ear in big, flaky chunks! Some were rolled up like a ball and I uncurled them. I love to explore little crevices and pull out large crispy wax and he says he can hear them crunching in his ear and that when I grab on and slowly pull with tweezers. He loves the feeling and I love the results.

Happened to me once when I was 17, I remember because it was my Birthday, was brushing my teeth and felt a weird rumbling sensation in my left ear, leaned my head over the sink and just felt something roll out, looked down in the sink and saw a huge piece, it was black and brown and chunky as hell. Was so mesmerized by it I stopped brushing and just stared at it until my mother peeped in and started yelling and tried to kill it, she thought it was a bug. Needless to say It was a pretty unusual couple of minutes. But it did feel good when it rolled out LoL.

Good! I’m not the only one!
This has only happened to me last winter when I took my first flight in over 10 years to go to NY with my best friend. We were taking off in the evening. I had the middle seat, my best friend the right aisle, and, luckily, a young woman our age to my left with a wondow view. Out of nowhere something semi-sticky and brown almost the size of a kidney bean fell into my long, dark brown hair. I have doctors in my family, and I didn’t realize what it was (just thay it was really strange), until I picked it up with 2 of my fingers and felt it. I would’ve “picked at it” or “research” it more but 1) I was a little disgusted knowing that it happened in close spaces with the nearest bathroom at the back of the plane…and I had 2 other young women next to me and threw it somewhere it the ground (hopefully not on anyone’s purse!)
I realized that during take-off I was adjusting pressure in my ears and nose by doing some excerises I had read earlier. I can definitely attest that they work!
There is a giant hunk of something behind a wall of ear wax and it tumbles around…how can I get it out?
this morning while cleaning my ear (with a tube) and there was dark, dark brown on the q-tip….tube has been stopped up a long time, can’t hear anything at all out of it. this is just the first time I have seen anything like the dark brown. fluid drains out of it a lot, but still can’t hear out of it.
Ever since my 4 year old son was 3 months he’d have dark brown balls of wax in his ear canal and it was super scary and after a while he got use to momma and her bobby pin pulling his “ear boogers” out as gently as I could it was so disgusting and smelled foul to this day but he acts a little relieved afterwards his father will not do this and now I know im not the only parent that has or does this I feel better that hes not the only one with this issue his younger brothers 3 & 2 do nit have this issue. .
