This cannot be matched in the good-feeling category. Though, ironically can be succeeded by one’s own child saying the same sort of thing in front of one’s spouse.

Compliments are great no matter what. I’m not so great at giving or receiving them, though.
It’s always been easy for me to give a compliment.
To receive is a very special feeling I am learning to achieve.
This is a feeling matched only by said “crush” complimenting you, while flashing that big, beautiful smile … turning you into Goofy. ha’yuk.

It is a nice feeling, especially if the person you happen to like is looking at you with a bit of admiration or respect. I highly advise not having someone do this just for show as insincere compliments usually show through. Just let it happen on its own.

I always get a little embarrassed when I’m complemented. :) I don’t really know what to say, and I think I might turn a little red. :)
