There’s really nothing like pulling up in the driveway and shutting off the engine just as that final cymbal crashes or that wailing guitar solo slowly fades into perfect silence. If you time it just right, you’ll miss the start of the commercials, and you’ll be dutifully rewarded with the song replaying itself in your head all day.
AWESOME!

***THE BEST!!!
perhaps a tie with “Born to run” and “Stairway to Heaven.”
I’ve been known to drive around the block if I’m lovin’ the song that’s on. ;)
I’ll just sit in the car and wait for the song to end if its not over yet. Then, if I don’t turn the radio off right away, I’m usually sitting there to hear another song.
Yes, I do believe it’s easier to leave the last bite of pie and even chocolate cake! =D
Lol – I do the same thing! It justs sucks to leave the song half-finished.
I sometimes find myself doing this for music I have in the house! I sit in the driveway telling myself to just go in the house and turn on my music to hear it, but it’s just not the same…I HAVE to finish it in the car!
I love it when this happens. It doesn’t happen very often though.
Am I the only one missing Mondays awesome thing? I hope it was just forgotten and nothings happened to Neil.
I was thinking the very same thing!!!
What’s UP?!*
Did the storm slow things up for our northerly neighbors…perhaps that contributed to the delay? I have a four day weekend thanks to Sandy. Thankfully, we still have power!
I didn’t get a long weekend. I had to come to work in the snow and the fallen trees and the rain and the wind. At least my electricity never went off! I’ve been looking at pictures today of Sandy’s damage. So sad.
