#868 Snow falling on Christmas

snowy-christmas-eveJumbo snowflakes falling thick and heavy on Christmas is a special sight. They blur the world for a moment and lay a fresh blank canvas over everything. So if you’re sitting inside listening to carols on the radio, munching Christmas cookies, or chatting with family and friends, take a moment to look out the window and just enjoy the scene.

AWESOME!

  1. It’s been snowing for days here. Then yesterday it did not snow all day! The sun shone, which is always so pretty on a winter’s day. Then leaving candle-light church service last night, there was new falling snow! And it cooled ma burning eyes, as every time it get’s me…this year ever more, as I held my new grandson in my arms and he cooed with me to “Silent Night, Holy Night!”
May God Bless each and everyone of you this Christmas day and always~

  2. No snow falling here yet but plenty already on the ground. In other news, I am getting a puppy! No idea why I had the urge to share that with random strangers but oh well. I still need a name for the little guy… :)

    1. I once got a puppy for Christmas, named Kaj, pronounced Kye, rhymes with eye, sky, pie… means: best friend and rejoice~ fits both female or male:) What a beautiful gift! Thanks for sharing! You just brought back a favourite Christmas memory to a random stranger~ thank you!
      And Enjoy!

  3. Our warm, Aussie Christmases are pretty AWESOME…

…But I would certainly like to experience a snowy Christmas, one day. Maybe Canada, or classic New York. :)

  4. Aw, this was a really great post. In theory Id like to write like this also – taking time and real effort to make a good article but what can I say I procrastinate alot and never seem to get something done
