#852 The smell of the coffee aisle in the grocery store

Sniff it up

Harsh fluorescent lighting, slushy wet floors, and the cloudy stench of raw fish welcome you into your friendly, neighborhood grocery store. After circling tables of green bananas, wobbly chick pea towers, and piles of day-old bagels, it’s kind of nice to stumble upon the coffee aisle and just take a big sniff.

  1. Who doesnt love the smell of coffee!! And in shops it’s even nicer when there’s a cup of coffee beans sitting next to a row of perfume or candles or soaps to refresh your nose after smelling all those scents! I’ve seen that only twice, once at a festival stall and one actually in Priceline the other day :) And also, not in any supermarket, but whenever I go to the local shopping centre, there is a Dusk shop there (look it up, or better yet, visit!) and every time I’m walking past I run in, stop for a second and take a big deep breath, sigh, then keep on my merry way :D Every single time.

      1. I don’t drink coffee as it tastes yech, so I’m not thrilled with the smell either. Late though, I sniffed someone’s cappucino and it smelled kinda good.

  2. You got that right! Our coffee comes in the mail- fair trade, organic, “Oso Negro- means Black Bear- is awesome to smell in the mail and freezer too!
    It is said that the outer aisles are the healthiest. I know one grocery store chain that keeps coffee and teas on the outer circumference and I think they should ALL follow suit!

  3. Why does my Mother Drin coffee Is it old To Do it or when she drinks it . it remind’s her of Sex . i wonder does it Happen to old People >.> No the drink tea so they and thinking of Sex there doing it . Sorry if people dont like this but im Ganna write what i wanna Write :p

  4. MMMM.. I love the smell of coffee. I remember as a kid, every time we would get to the coffee isle, my brothers and I would fight over who got to lift the lid on the coffee grinder to smell it first.

    1. I love it too! But also, what about girls in white dresses and blue satin sashes? Or Snow flakes that stay on your nose and eyelashes?

  8. I like the coffee aisle, but my favorite is the spice aisle. Its like walking into a ginormous spice cupboard! And then I just stand in the middle of the aisle smelling the air, looking like a crazy person :)

  10. I’ve never really liked the smell of coffee. I don’t really know why. I guess my Grocery Store Awesome Thing would be going to look at the fish and crabs and lobsters that they have in those tanks. It’s what made going to the food store fun when I was a kid.

    The Netherlands is more crowded than Japan, Belgium is more crowded than Taiwan, but nobody says Japan or Taiwan will solve the RACE problem by bringing in millions of third-worlders and assimilating and intermarrying with them.

    Everybody says the final solution to the RACE problem is for EVERY white country and ONLY white countries to bring in the third world and assimilate with them.

    Immigration, tolerance, and especially assimilation are being used against the white race.

    All this immigration and intermarriage is for EVERY white country and ONLY white countries.

    Anti-white is called anti-racist, but it leads to the disappearance of one race and only one race, the white race. The real aim of anti-racism is to wipe out the white race or make it a minority anywhere it exists.

    It is genocide.
