When the cereal’s done but that shiny, off-white milk puddle remains, it’s time to drop the spoon, grab the bowl, and tilt back like there’s no tomorrow. It’s espresso for kids, it’s breakfast dessert, and it’s completely and totally

Being a milk lover, this is the best part of eating for me! Sugary, cereal-flavored milk is da’ bomb! Ooooh, when it’s chocolaty it’s even better! Really the best though, is when you’ve eaten the last bowl of cereal from the box and that pile of crumbs mixes with milk and creates a sugar sledge or as I now dub it, the cereal shake…YUM!
Crap, if I’m the first comment, I’ve stayed up way too late! Night!
Haha. Goodnight! (Such a weird thing to type when, for me, it’s 3:36pm…)
Cereal Shake??? That’s interesting. And yeah, you’re up way past my bedtime!
This is one of those things that seems to get even more awesome the older you get… ;)
Honestly, as an adult I still do this. It makes me happy in the morning :)
Reblogged this on pepp8.
I always leave just a few pieces of cereal in there so when I slurp, I have to stop and chew.
Our younger generation is losing out. I find my kids bowls in the sink with half a bowl of milk and 5 cheerios left. What a waste!
Sounds like they need an intervention there, Steve!
My kids drink the milk, even the little one. He’s so cute trying to slurp it all up.
They make bowls with straws built into them. You can try those.
That’s brilliant! Where can I get those for my grand-babies, Bekah?!
