Ohhh… I’m not awesomely coordinated enough to do this. More likely, I would stick my foot out at the worst possible time, and would instead kick the glass through a nearby window…
Hahaha, lol.
I don’t have such quick reflexes typically. The only time I did it didn’t turn out well: I dropped my curling iron and caught it with my bare hands against my bare stomach…OUCH! I think that episode as a teen conditioned my s-l-o-w reflexes. LOL!
Ouch! CURSE YOU, REFLEXES!!
That’s like the odd occasion when I’ve tried to catch a falling knife. :P By now, I’ve learned to be a smart person and freaking STEP AWAY and let it fall, but I had a few close calls when I was younger.
Happy to report that I still have all ten fingers, so that’s a plus.
Hmmm, you don’t mention 10 toes, which leaves one to wonder…?
Just don’t follow this reflex when said cup or mug is full of a boiling hot beverage (I speak from experience!)
I don’t think I own anything nice enough to risk a foot injury for. I’d have to let it drop.
I think I would just end up kicking it if I attempted this. I have caught it with my hands before its hit the floor before. I have also went to catch it and accidentally knocked it down harder.
I’m too old to stick my foot out fast enough :)
