  5. All this rain we’ve been having lately here, I really do appreciate this one that much more! I only drive under a bridge right around my work. If the light is red, I don’t pull up where I can get rained on, I stay under the bridge.

    1. You are brave. I’m always a tad nervous under bridges/overpasses that the huge, rumbling semis traveling overhead will come crashing down on me through some bridge-built-by-the-lowest-bidder engineering weakness, so I always attempt to avoid sitting under the bridge. But it’s cool to sail through and have a few seconds respite from the rain! :)

      1. My fear isn’t sitting under the bridge, its sitting slightly out from under it. A car could come sailing over the side at any moment. I’m always watching the top of the bridge as I’m coming to it.

        1. LOL…me, too! I’m watching for the trucks and if there’s one overhead, I will not stop under the bridge, but stop just before. Ahhh, the little safety nets we create for ourselves on a daily basis!
