#976 Flossing

Floss floss floss

From electric shavers that work in the shower to whitening paste you can coat your teeth with overnight to lasers that zap away unwanted body hair, we sure are surrounded by a lot of fancy and expensive personal hygiene technologies these days. That’s why flossing is so great. It’s just a piece of string.

AWESOME!

How great…I don’t even remember this one from the first time around! May they NEVER improve floss! ~Kath

  2. I used to have a friend who carried dental floss around with her, for the pure purpose of having a compact case of string with her.

It came in handy more than you might think…

  3. I floss quite a lot. I keep some in my purse, in my desk at work, in my car, in my medicine cabinet in the bathroom…. its everywhere. I have this… problem I guess, where if I can’t blow air between my teeth, I have to floss. I don’t know why. I’ve always been like that. I try it various times throughout the day and can test the teeth as far back as one past my canine teeth….whatever that one is called. Its weird. I know.

I too have a habit of blowing air between my teeth, so i floss alot. If i connot find a thread it gets on my nerves and i have to find something that fits so i use a piece of paper.(i know it sounds kind of weird but i have to use something and sometimes it cuts my gums)I am surprised bekah can test past the canine, I cannot.i’ll try to do it.

    • Whew! So I’m not all that weird.

PS.. hubby uses a straw when we are away from home to floss his teeth. Sometimes is grosses me out. I don’t like to be out eating and then look over at him with his straw poking at his gums. But when you gotta floss, ya gotta floss!

I actually don’t floss as much as I should. I never floss, actually. Oops. I should probably start. It seems like a very simple and effective way to cleanse ones teeth.

A little like the topic at hand~ One of my nick-names taken from my middle name and the fact I tend to stand on one leg like a yoga stance and flamingo…often and as far back as I could stand… is Flossy Flamingo:)

  9. It took me far too long to get into the habit of flossing. Nowadays, though, I feel it when I miss a morning. Good call.

I've got something awesome to add...
