amen and amen. just happened to me tonight!
I’m a bit weird with things like this.
When I walk out of a shop empty-handed, I’m convinced the security gates are going to scream at me anyway.
When I leave the library, I’m sure the exits will be signalled by the books I’m not carrying.
And when I see a cop on the road, I’m positive I’m about to be screwed, despite not drinking, not speeding, not doing anything wrong at all.
What makes this even weirder is that I’ve NEVER — not once in my five years of driving — been pulled over by the police. Not even for an RBT. o___O
I’m special…
I’m exactly the same way. I’m always afraid that everyone will turn and look at me like “OMG she’s a criminal!” I’m just paranoid I guess.
Thank goodness I’m not the only one looking unnecessarily shifty out there. ;)
You look shifty b/c you are the infamous LTBG;)
LOL! LTBG…I like that!
As I get older, this happens more and more. Pretty soon they’ll be pulling me over for driving too slow.
I wish they’d pull over my brother and fine him for slow driving! Gawd, it’s like riding with granny!
I can’t really relate to this, since I don’t drive. I really like the picture of that old sheriff car, though.
happen to me tonight, too!
Or seeing the cop car lights from far enough for them to catch you on radar for speeding and then you realize they are on the other side of the highway :)
Good one!
I have a sordid sort of friend of sort, (this means not that closely associated), who last week said, she gets pulled over all the time: “Why just the other day I was speeding in the city playground zone right by the court house you know, when wheerrinn”, (that’s the siren sound she made), and on the Sunday she just says, “Why officer, I’m running late for church!” smiles and bats lashes and other days, she plays the bible study card and everytime the officer lets her go!! But she is well endowed and knows how to work them bull mastivs…you know what I’m saying…so I don’t think God has much if anything to do with this at all. Amen.
LOL…I’m seriously laughing out loud!
I’m ususally going 5 or 10 over the limit, but have learned to keep my eye out for those sneaky cops! This morning, I was going a wee too fast and saw a cop car, but he was busy handcuffing some guy, so I didn’t even bother to slow down.
I do a fair bit of driving in my job and I can’t believe how fortunate I’ve been with the police! I’ve a feeling my luck may soon run out.
