  1. Having a maths equation resolved after days, weeks, or months of thinking.
Creating your own mental imaginary universe and generally your own laws and priority and following them.

  2. This website. This website is awesome. I get all warm-and-fuzzy inside reading this stuff :).

How about when you see a group on Facebook about the randomest thing, but you totally agree with it? And you have this “I thought it was just me!” feeling, but you realize there are thousands of others thinking it too and you feel a sense of understanding. Like, “I will go out of my way to step on that crunchy leaf” or “I secretly want to punch slow-walking people in the back of the head.” or “When I was your age, Pluto was a planet.”

Or working on a really long essay, typed single-space, then finishing it, and pressing double-space, and watching the page numbers fly up, making you feel more accomplished.

    AWESOME!

  3. Aceing that exam which you clean forgot existed
    or
aceing an exam/test/quiz which someone springs on you

feels awesome to know that you DO have stuff between your ears!

  4. Turning your alarm clock off on a Friday night.
That moment as you slip to bed after a long weeks work and realise that you can get up at whatever time you want.
You can stay up late, drink silly cocktails and generally be daft, as you have nothing to do for the next 24 hours or more.
    Bliss in a cup.

  5. – Frozen grapes on a hot summer day.
    – Realizing that there’s a full moon out.
    – Cooking dinner in the oven and it tasting so much better than microwaved.
    – Rereading your favorite childern’s book.
    – Falling onto the couch.
    – Hide and go seek. In the dark.
    – Waking up to the sound of the ocean.
    – Finding your picture more than once in the yearbook.
    – Christmas lights inside the house.

I just had a burst of inspiration. Forgive me.

  6. Seeing a old friend that you haven’t seen in a long time, and just picking up a conversation where you stopped last time.

Seeing the joy and acceptance when playing with a disabled child… your age, language and background does not matter at all to that kid, only the attention you are giving him/her matters at that moment.

The smell & sound – the whole experience – of a thunder storm.

  7. Listening to a love song that feels like it’s written especially for you. Or better, a love song that is in fact written for you:) Awesome.

    -Hugging someone in the water.

-Realizing you got away with it.
    -Realizing someone else didn’t.

  17. This is something that happened well over a decade ago but will be forever cemented in my mind as one of the most awesome days ever…

It all started on a Tuesday. For some reason I had secured a Friday night date with a guy who was a lot hotter than anyone I ever thought I could get. But the snag in the plan was he called me up and said his dad couldn’t lend him the car. So he asked me if I could drive.

I had no car and had never actually gone to get my license.

    “Of course,” I said.

So there I am calling the DMV hoping to God I can get an appointment for a drivers test before Friday.

“We just had a cancellation for Friday at 3:00”, the DMV lady told me.

    Awesome.

It’s Friday, and despite getting into an argument with the mad-russian driving examiner, I pass the test. I have an actual license.

    Awesome.

I beg my Mom to lend me her car. She says yes.

    Awesome.

I pick up the guy and its snowing and slippery and I don’t hit anything. We arrive at our destination, car intact.

    Awesome.

There is one available parking spot. It is right in front of the venue, but it is the smallest parking spot on the face of the earth and requires parallel parking.

    S*#t!!!

I take a deep breath, palm flat against the steering wheel, and in one fluid motion manoeuvre the car into that spot.

“Nice parking,” he says, completely oblivious to all I’d been through.

    Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh awesome.

  18. When you’re on break from school and think in a panic, “Oh no… homework!” then remember that you don’t have anything due… you’re on break.
