    Every time I rip a sheet of paper out of a notebook, or some toilet paper off a roll, there’s just something so satisfying in that perfectly straight edge.

    6. Cinnamon (in cookies, tea, ice cream, with apples, etc.)
    7. Getting a good grade
    8. Fresh orange juice
    9. Reading the extra thick weekend newspaper
    10. Getting a compliment
    11. Juicy gossiping with friends
    12. Meeting your friends after you haven’t seen them for months and realising that nothing has changed and you still have a great time with them (this actually just happened, I’m currently abroad and it was awesome seeing my friends again and talking in my own language)
    13. Writing with a fountain pen
    14. A blue sky filled with big white clouds
    15. When you’re cycling, letting go of the handlebars and feeling the wind through your fingers
    16. The smell of freshly baked bread
    17. High heels
    18. Hearing that brilliant song and dancing to it while you’re alone and you can act as crazy as you want to
    19. A cute guy with a British accent
    20. Coming somewhere where you don’t know anyone, talking to new people, having a brilliant evening/weekend and leaving with the feeling that you have made new good friends

    Seeing the look on a child’s face when they got what they wanted.

    Donating your hair and having the barber tell you it will make at least 3 wigs. (Easily made my week)

    Knowing your ex is suffering when you’re just fine because they screwed up, not you.

    Root beer.

    Apple slices.

    Fresh, home-grown peaches.

    Warm bubble baths.

    New book smell.

    Driving for the first time.

    Being trusted enough to drive your parent’s car.

    Being told you’re beautiful.

    Watching movies.

    The smell of popcorn.

    Christmas caroling.

    Grandma’s cooking.

    Watching your significant other sleep.

    Puppies running in their sleep.

    Sleeping babies.

    The first wail from a newly born baby.

  6. Being hungover from the night before (like serious toliet hugging) and trying to get your shift covered. No one has got back to you and it’s an hour and a half before your shift…you’re trying to convince yourself you won’t need a shower. You puke again. You wish you were dead. Your phone buzzes. “Ya I can cover your shift”. AWESOME! …then you convince a friend to head to Mc E D’s for you and buy you a big mac, AWESOME!

  7. getting into an empty/very short line, only to look behind you moments later and see a VERY long line behind you :) beating the line is the BEST!

    when the cashier tells you that you qualify for a coupon you don’t have, and then they give you one of the spares they have :)

  8. When there’s an even amount of bread slices left in the bag to make a full sandwich and knowing you can have another tomorrow.

    Listening to people start talking at the same time. In a really awkward setting. Like in class or a meeting.

    Finishing a book you’ve been reading for months.

    When you are the only one on the entire plane that has an empty seat next to you. Or when strangers help get your luggage for you.

    Listening to a song you haven’t heard in 5+ years and still know every word.

  9. The summer showers with the sun still out and running around/dancing in it for the 5 minutes it lasts for.

    Rolling down a really big hill.

    Waking up and calling the school closing hot-line and hearing the machine voice say “All public schools are closed for the day”

  10. I love watching old cartoons like popeye and loony toons. I also love watching previews for movies that came out on home video several years ago (Like when you watch an old disney VHS) also, old comercials. I dont know why but I like looking at the old logos of resturants and stores. it reminds me of when i was younger.

    another good one is getting an A on a paper that you scribbled up ten minutes before class because you didn’t do it. even if you had several months to do so.
