I’m a Phys Ed teacher and one of my favorite AWESOME moments is when my students are playing dodgeball. I love watching my students react the second after a dodgeball almost hits them in the head. They have this expression that they just escaped death and the euphoria that that emotion brings. Their eyes are wide; they’re speechless; they try to find who threw the ball, then uncontrollable laughter! AWESOME!
Thinking exactly what somebody else is thinking.

Seeing a baby yawn is one of the cutest possible faces from their sweet puffy faces. You see her mouth starting to open and oh! here it comes you see her tiny mouth stretch to it’s limit and the aftermath may include a smile of another yawn you never know.

Front porch swings.
Big enough to fit a few family members on, but doesn’t swing high enough to make Grandma sick.
-walking on those passenger belts in airports and speeding by everyone walking on the floor.
-driving over a hump in the road at just the right speed, giving you that brief dash of roller-coaster feeling.
Getting candy at the drive-thru window of the bank. What kid hasn’t debated whether or not to ride along on a bank trip? You know that it will probably be extremely boring, but you also know that there will likely be some form of candy on a stick as your sweet reward. It’s usually a toss up as to what kind of lolli you’ll get — from the generic green bank-sucker to the higher quality DumDum, and on rare (& totally awesome) occasions you hit the jackpot…BLOW-POP, BABY!
Even as an adult, I am not at all ashamed of requesting my sugary treat at the window. And every now and then, I get rewarded without asking; usually by that sweet old lady who remembers me from childhood rides with my mom.
Finding out that someone still loves you after 32 years apart and you still love them too!
-Reading a text message that gives you butterflies.
-That big morning stretch and yawn.
-Coming home realizing that you had cleaned the night before or earlier so you can just sit down and relax.
-The awesome feeling of your son or daughter running up to you with open arms when you get home from a long day of work.
-Leftovers!
Awesome – How just by sticking one leg outside of the blanket cools you down when you are way too hot in the middle of the night.
Oh ya!! Love that feeling!
i have not read all the 1000 awesome things, so i don´t know if this thing is on the list, but i think that it’s awesome going back to sleep after pressing the snooze button.
Being up at a cottage and sitting on the dock chatting with friends right at the end of a really hot day.
Sending a monkey email to a friend who has never seen one before and getting an email back telling you that you made them laugh so hard they fell off the chair. Try it. Google monkey email and start sending. You’ll make someone’s day. Awesome!

The perfect glass of milk-It’s the moment you finish your cookies and start washing down the remaining milk in your glass. You realize that you have poured the perfect glass of milk, washing down all your cookies. You don’t have to go to the fridge to get more and you don’t have the half inch to inch of milk left in your glass. You have just poured the perfect glass of milk and you are the king of cookies and milk for a day.
Drinking a cup of water from the bathroom sink tap. The water is colder, more refreshing and tastes better.
Finally realizing that the reason you are mad is something that doesn’t really matter.

singing karaoke in the basement with your best friends during earth hour.

Getting to go to the bathroom after having to hold it for a REALLY long time!!
Climbing out onto the roof of a cottage with your best friends in the middle of the night, listening to the crickets, looking at the stars.
