  1. The tingles you get in your legs as you frantically try to remember how to swim since last summer.

  2. Getting the last one of something. One more piece of pizza left in the box….take it, its yours. The last jug of milk at the store…grab it before anyone else.

  3. When your baby finally sleeps through the night.

I remember when my daughter slept through the night for the first time. I woke up the next morning and did a little victory dance.

  4. Finding a frozen patch of snow and walking across it without making a footprint =)

Taking a HUGE laugh attack with a friend, then having someone else walk in to the middle of it… and then just laughing even harder.

  5. Waiting to watch a TV show until the entire season comes out on DVD and then watching the entire season from start to end!

  6. Driving under a bridge during a heavy rainstorm. Your window is finally clear, and no matter how loud anyone is talking or how high the radio is on, it’s somehow quiet for a split second, until you’re back out into the storm.

  7. Hearing a song on the radio and realizing you’ve seen that band in CONCERT. (Especially epic bands, for me, it was Foreigner, Styx and Kansas)
    That’s awesome. :)

  8. I can sooo relate to this blog!

Sitting in the sunshine in an English country pub garden, sipping chilled white wine under an apple tree, by a mossy faded brick wall, butterflies in the air and bees dancing…

  9. Clicking with a complete stranger.

    Discovering a new favourite thing.

Having something so exciting to share you can barely hold it in…….awesome!

  13. Hi Neil,

Great blog and an awesome idea. I’ll be checking out your book. Here is my most definite awesome experience. Pulling yourself out of bed on a cold morning at 6 am but before you reach the shower getting called by colleagues that you don’t need to come in today. Sure, hours later you may wonder what the reason was but at the moment of that call, that feeling is just heaven!

  22. Going somewhere where you expect to wait in line or calling a business expecting to be on hold forever….and when you get there…there’s no line, there’s no on hold music playing just a nice lady on the other line waiting to help you.

Amusement parks, the DMV, concert ticket lines, grocery store the day before a big holiday…. you go ready to be patient and wait…but you don’t have to.
