When a name, or word comes into your mind after trying to remember it for hours.
Plucking your eyebrows.
Sleeping in a tent in a public park.
Taking off with a plane.
Having exactly the amount of money you need.
New stationery.
YAWNING.
I love paying with exact change!
Your memory or brain…whichever.
Do you have any idea how many things we remember even if we don’t want to? Phone numbers, addresses, locker cominations, directions, how to play a game/sport, family times, embarrassing times, your first kiss, your first bike ride without training wheels, failing a test, acing a class…. its all up there, just stored away. Anything can trigger a memory~ a smell, a sound, a place…one memory could lead to another memory. Its all so very awesome!!

Having a bad week and an even worse day, but then receiving an email from your girlfriend with a link to “1000 awesome things.” It’s nice to have someone that cares about your happiness just as much as their own.
When cats do stupid funny things.
Something I find awesome:
When you’re getting ready to go out, and your ride is meant to arrive but you’re not ready yet. Your phone rings and you panic because you’re expecting it to be your ride but it’s them letting you know they are running a little late :)
when you say a word at the exact same time as someone on the radio says the exact same thing.
Making that last lap pass for the win in a racing video game.
Knowing a whole verse of R.E.M.’s “It’s the End of the World as We Know it” by heart
Hearing a song you’ve never heard before on the radio and guessing the artist correctly before its actually told.
surprise visits from someone you don’t mind a visit from.
When you write on your facebook status that you are returning home for a visit and a dozen people “like” it or comment on how excited they are to see you
When you change the cat litter and your cat cant wait to get in.
If my cat sees me cleaning the litter box, he’ll watch me for a few minutes and then go into it before I’m even finished. I have to scoop around him. AWESOME!
When the team that you’re supporting scores a goal (this is for all the fans of the World Cup)

Not failing or being rejected when your expecting to be.
Me and hubby are going to try to get a loan for a house today and I’m sorta expecting to not be able to get one………but if we do….that would be sooo incredibly awesome!!
When you have a closing shift at work, and you actually get out on time – or earlier.
When you sibling you haven’t seen in a long time, surprises you by coming home!

– being the first one to leave the auditorium after finishing an exam…especially if its your last exam
-your first trip south without your parents
-when your younger (adult) brother tells you he met someone, or that he thinks his girlfriend is “the one”

When you’ve been single for a while, and you meet someone that you instantly click with. it’s unspoken, but don’t be coy, you both know.
Snuggling on the sofa with someone I loved, laughing hysterically at the movie “Tremors.”
Those increasingly rare moments when my mom peeks out of her Alzheimer’s fog and lets Dad and me know she still knows and loves us.
Leaving out “step” and knowing she’s totally my daughter.
The wonderful book of awesome to make me more thoughtful about all the awesome things in my world! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I have a teacher that is completely and totally amazing, and I gave him the Book of Awesome for the end of the year with a note in the front saying how awesome he is…perfect gift.
Seeing the T.V. show from when you were a kid for the first time in years when you thought it was cancelled forever.
This one is so simple, but so frikking awesome :
Waking up from a bad nightmare and realizing that it was all just a dream :) Gotta love that…
