Dreaming of places from your childhood.
Lately I’ve been having a lot of dreams that happen at my old elementary school.
My last dream centered around the gym. It was transformed into a huge movie theater and me and my bff went there to watch a movie. There was like 10 screens set up for this one movie in the gym.
My old principal was there serving popcorn.
The point when you realize, “I am DEFINITELY going to make this light”, no more hovering your foot over the break-all gas baby!
The last bite on your dinner plate, the one that is a mix of every foodgroup, sauce, taste that made up your dinner. Mmmm. AWESOME.
picking things up with your toes
doing something awesome while looking nonchalant so that people who saw think you must do awesome things all the time
Not getting into trouble when you thought you were going to. Running late on a big project at work and you tell the boss….and not get yelled at. The 6 year old you accidentally knocks over your little sister and your mom understands that it actually was an accident and you don’t get a time-out.
Getting that perfect bite of popcorn that has enough butter and salt that you can really taste them, but not so much that the kernels got soggy (also works with nachos, when you get a chip that has a little of every topping but is still crispy).
Trying to get someone to watch a movie or TV show you really like, and they end up loving it.
A ponytail/bun/etc. that stays perfectly composed, and not a single strand escapes.
That occasional sharp cool breeze over your face when you’re snuggled in bed in early autumn and your window is open.
Going out into the cold when you’re bundled up really well, so you know it’s freezing out but you barely feel it.
Yelling out something that makes everyone laugh (including the long-timers) during your first time seeing Rocky Horror, Repo, or some other audience-participation movie.
The smell of permenant marker

I LOVE getting the first swig from the cold milk bottle when the milkman has just deliviered it! oooh its so cold and fresh!! :) and then obviously the shouts from my brother when he didnt get there first!!!

Last year I was visiting a friend I met travelling. I was spending the weekend with her and we had planned to go out, get wasted and have fun! Well that’s what happened on the first night!
Second night, we had the greatest of intentions, but neither one of us had the energy to get up off the sofa.
“We’ll get ready in half an hour” we insisted, about 5 times!
In the end we were just content to stay home, drink and chat about a million things, comfortable in one another’s company!
